LG’s upcoming G7 ThinQ to be revealed in New York and Seoul on May 2nd

The device is expected to heavily feature artificial intelligence as a user experience tool

South Korean hardware manufacturer LG is set to unveil its G7 ThinQ smartphone in Seoul and New York City on May 2nd, 2018.

According to an April 10th, 2018 media release (translated from Korean) the company plans on using its “accumulated AI technology to show the convenience that we have never seen before.”

Android Headlines reportedly has an exclusive render of the LG G7 ThinQ — shown in the tweet below.

The device is expected to heavily feature the company’s SmartThinQ artificial intelligence (AI) technology as a user experience tool.

The G7 ThinQ will come equipped with ‘Voice AI’ for voice commands, ‘Empathy AI,’ ‘Vision AI’ for camera-use, as well as ‘Sympathetic AI’ designed to improve “interoperability with other devices.”

Images of what might be the LG G7 ThinQ have already leaked, suggesting that the device will feature a 6.1-inch display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, as well as a Snapdragon 845 processor.
