Canadian regional telecom Shaw Communications says that its chief marketing officer Jim Little is set to leave the company on May 4th.

According to a Globe and Mail report, Little will depart on the same day as Shaw’s chief financial officer Vito Culmone.

Shaw told the Globe and Mail that Little’s departure is a “personal decision to retire.”

Reports of Little’s departure comes amidst the news that Shaw is in the process of restructuring its organizational operations.

The company announced this restructuring in January 2018, offering buyouts to 6,500 Shaw and Freedom Mobile employees.

Shaw said that it expected 10 percent of those offered to accept the buyout packages, later revealing that 3,300 employees chose to accept buyout packages.

Shaw is set to announce its second quarter 2018 earnings on April 12th, 2018.

MobileSyrup has reached out to Shaw for comment. This story will be updated with a response.
