iTunes is now available in the Microsoft Store

While iTunes for Windows 10 was announced sometime ago, the app is now finally available in the Microsoft Store.

Many Windows 10 users may not care about the appearance of iTunes in the Microsoft Store, as there are other ways of downloading the content distribution marketplace. For those running Windows 10 S, however, this is a helpful addition.

With Windows 10 S, Microsoft’s operating system designed for schools and education, users can only download apps from the Microsoft Store, which means iTunes hasn’t been an option to them. Even when Windows turns 10 S into S Mode for some, the ability to download the app store will still no doubt be greatly appreciated by those who might not be able to disable the mode free of charge.

If you’re an iTunes user with a Windows laptop, now you can head to the Microsoft Store now and grab the iTunes desktop app. But note that after you’ve installed the desktop app it will remove any previously installed versions of iTunes and migrate your settings.
