Samsung’s Galaxy S10 is reportedly codenamed ‘Beyond’

South Korean news publication The Bell is reporting that the Samsung Galaxy S10 is codenamed ‘Beyond.’

As this is Samsung’s 10th-year anniversary smartphone, it makes sense that the name would be something that points to company reaching new heights.

Samsung reportedly codenamed the S9, ‘Star,’ the S8, ‘Dream,’ the Note 8, ‘Great’ and the Note 9, ‘Crown.’ Clearly Samsung has a lot of faith in many of its products given their confident codenames.

Previous reports suggest the Galaxy S10 and S10+ will feature a 5.8-inch and 6.3-inch Infinity Display respectively, with an in-display fingerprint sensor that’s set to be introduced with the Note 9.

Additional rumours point to the device featuring a 3D camera for improved facial recognition and the ability to make video calls with digital avatars.

We’re still a number of months away from Samsung revealing S10, though it looks like the company may release the Note 9 earlier than last year.
