Here’s a roundup of major Canadian 2018 Black Friday/Cyber Monday tech deals

Here is a list of each major Canadian carrier and retailer that's offering Black Friday tech deals

Canada Black Friday deals

Given that so many retailers are holding Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, it can be difficult to stay on top of all of the tech deals. That’s especially true for big businesses like Amazon or Walmart that sell a plethora of products outside of electronics.

With that in mind, MobileSyrup has rounded up all of the major Black Friday and Cyber Monday tech deals, broken down by retailers and carriers.

Carriers

Bell/Virgin

Montreal-based Bell and its flanker brand Virgin are offering Black Friday phone deals until November 26th. Some of the phones on sale include the iPhone XR, Samsung Galaxy S9 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

Customers who buy a 2018 Samsung Galaxy phone from Bell or Virgin will get a free pair of Gear Icon X headphones.

Activating any Android smartphone on a two-year plan gets you a free pair of wireless JBL headphones if you activate it in a Bell store.

Virgin is offering bonus gift cards ranging from $100-$150 CAD with the purchase of select phones

A breakdown of both carriers’ offers can be found here.

Eastlink

Nova Scotia-based regional carrier Eastlink is currently offering 5GB of bonus data on select plans for Black Friday, as well as a free Google Home Mini with the purchase of an LG G7 One.

Find more about these deals here.

Freedom Mobile

Toronto-based regional carrier Freedom Mobile is going big for Black Friday with its ‘Big Binge Bonus’ promotion. Available to both new and existing customers, the promo offers 100GB of bonus data to a $60 Freedom Mobile two-year plan with a new handset.

Koodo

Telus’ flanker brand is doing Black Friday a little differently from its parent company. This year, Koodo is holding an equivalent ‘Bright Friday’ sale on phones, which offers handsets like the LG G7 ThinQ, Samsung Galaxy S9+ and iPhone XR for $0 on select plans.

For Cyber Monday Koodo is offering the same phones for $0, but it’s also adding a bill credit ranging from $50-$150 CAD on select devices.

Rogers/Fido

Toronto-based Rogers and its Fido flanker brand are holding Black Friday deals from November 23rd to the 26th. Most notably, the carriers are throwing in a free Lenovo Smart Display unit with the activation of any Android device (except in Quebec).

Fido is also offering $100 bill credit on and new phone purchases made online.

Users can also take advantage of a BYOD plan that will net you 10GB of data for $75 per month.

Rogers is offering a slightly better bill credit of $200 when you activate or upgrade a phone to a two-year plan online. The company is also waiving the $35 connection fee.

A list of Rogers and Fido deals can be found here.

Telus

Vancouver-based Telus is running its suite of Black Friday phone deals until November 26th, which include savings on the Google Pixel 3, iPhone XS Max and Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

Telus is promoting a deal that gives users a free pair of BeatsX wireless neckbuds with the online purchase or activation of an iPhone on a two-year plan.
