Google Maps can help users find Black History Month events in Toronto

Google Maps on Android

Through Google Maps users can now discover Black History Month events in the Toronto area.

By opening Google Maps and navigating through the Explore tab, there should be an option to follow Black History Month events in Toronto. After following, Maps will inform the user when certain events are happening throughout the month.

Unfortunately, the app doesn’t offer me this option. Instead, I have to go through the events within the ‘Explore’ tab to find the Black History Month celebrations. When this feature does work it should give users quick access and an overview to some of the celebrations they may want to attend during the month.

Google Maps doesn’t offer all of the events though, so relying solely on Google Maps for all of the Black History Month events in the city likely isn’t a great idea.
