Canadians will soon be able order Starbucks with Uber Eats

Canadian Starbucks lovers can soon have their favourite Frappuccino delivered to their doorstep with Starbucks Delivers.

Starbucks Canada has partnered up with Uber Eats to offer Starbucks Delivers, a door-to-door delivery service available in Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary. Customers can order the majority of Starbucks menu in Uber Eats and have it delivered from hundreds of Starbucks locations nationwide.

As an established brand in the delivery business, Uber Eats brings together one of the fastest meal delivery services with one of the largest beverage retailers in Canada. By leveraging Uber Eats’ quick and reliable platform, Starbucks hopes to reach more customers nationwide.

“Our success is rooted in our ongoing commitment to bringing exceptional customer experiences through significant investments in technology and product innovation. Uber Eats is the ideal partner to help share the Starbucks Experience wherever our customers are,” said Micheal Conway, the President of Starbucks Canada, in a recent press release.

By offering Starbucks Delivers in Canada, the Seattle-based coffee chain is demonstrating further expansion of its delivery services that launched in 2018 in the United States. Starbucks Delivers expanded globally earlier this year and is currently available in the U.S., the U.K., China, Japan, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Brazil, Mexico and Chile.

Starbucks is one of the quickest embracers of technology. It was the first national retailer in Canada to offer in-house mobile payment technology that contains a built-in loyalty program.

Uber Eats is available on iOS and Android. Starbucks Delivers is set to launch in Canada this summer.
