Here are the top Canadian carrier Black Friday 2022 deals

Several carriers and flanker brands have discounted phones, and plans have lower prices, bonus data, and more

Several Canadian carriers and flanker brands have released Black Friday deals with discounts on smartphones, plans and more. There’s a ton going on, so we pulled some of the best Black Friday offers into one place, so it’s easier to keep track of everything.


Below, you’ll find some of the best Black Friday offers split by carrier. Deals are still rolling out, so make sure to check back for updates and new additions.

In-store offers

Update 2022/11/23 at 3:12pm ET: While several carriers have solid deals online, some of the best Black Friday plans are only available in stores. For example, some providers have $35/20GB plans. Learn more here.

Update 2022/11/22 at 9:40am ET: Some customers have gotten even lower plans, like $30/20GB, at in-store locations like Mobile Klinik.

Big Three $150 bill credit

Update 2022/11/22 at 9:40am ET: Rogers, Bell, and Telus have all started offering a $10/mo bill credit for 15 months on bring your own phone (BYOP) and smartphone activations online. Learn more here.

Rogers

Update 2022/11/25 at 11:49am ET: Rogers rolled out a $75/100GB plan on Black Friday. Learn more here.

  • iPhone 14 — starts at $0 down, $0/mo financing with Upfront Edge and when you trade in an iPhone 12
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 — $0 down, $15/mo financing with Upfront Edge online (in-store: $360 or $0 with eligible trade-in)
  • Pixel 7 — $0 down, $15/mo device financing with Upfront Edge
  • Samsung Galaxy S22 — $0 down, $0/mo device financing when you trade in a Galaxy S20 in-store

Upfront Edge allows customers to get a discounted monthly financing cost if they agree to return the device after 24 months or pay off the difference.

Along with smartphone discounts, Rogers launched some limited-time plans, including a $60/mo plan with 15GB of data and student plans starting at $55/mo.

Update 2022/11/17 at 9:30am ET: Rogers rolled out new Black Friday plans to match offers from Telus. These include an $85/50GB plan and a $95/100GB plan.

Bell

Update 2022/11/23 at 4:14pm ET: Bell is offering free AirPods (2nd gen) when you buy an iPhone 14. Learn more here.

Update 2022/11/17 at 9:30am ET: Bell rolled out new Black Friday plans to match offers from Telus. These include an $85/50GB plan and a $95/100GB plan.

Along with smartphones, Bell is offering customers up to 50 percent on select accessories. Learn more here.

Telus

Update 2022/11/25 at 2:49pm ET: Telus added a $75/100GB plan to match Rogers.

  • Samsung Galaxy S22 – $0 down, $10/mo financing with Bring-It-Back (Telus claims $1,120 in savings)
  • Pixel 7 – $0 down, $11.67/mo financing with Bring-It-Back
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 – $0 down, $15/mo financing with Bring-It-Back plus get the 512GB storage for the price of 128GB ($1,490 in savings)
  • iPhone 14 Pro – $o down, $37.83/mo financing with Bring-It-Back and get three months of free Apple TV+

Telus’ Bring-It-Back program reduces the monthly financing cost of smartphones if customers agree to return the devices at the end of 24 months. Customers can also pay the difference to keep the phone.

Moreover, Telus is offering a $10/mo bill credit for 12 months on its $95/mo 100GB plan.

Fido

Fido also has a plan deal offering 20GB of data for $55/mo, plus customers can save $5/mo for 15 months with promo code ‘YAYFIDO5.’

Virgin Plus

Update 2022/11/16 at 2:33pm ET: Virgin Plus updated its plans to match deals from Fido:

  • $50/mo 12GB
  • $55/mo 20GB

The carrier previously had $55/10GB, $60/20GB, and $65/25GB plans.

Update 2022/11/16 at 2:26pm ET: Koodo updated its plans to match deals from Fido:

  • $45/mo 6GB (unchanged)
  • $50 12GB (new)
  • $55/mo 10GB 20GB (changed)
  • $60/mo 20GB 25GB (changed)
  • $65/mo 25GB (removed)

Telus flanker brand Public Mobile rolled out Black Friday deals, although they may look familiar to some. In short, Public is offering 12GB of bonus data for 12 months on $40/mo or higher 4G plans. Moreover, Public has discounted its 4G plans. You can check out the offers here.

Vidéotron

  • Samsung Galaxy S21 FE – $0/mo with select 24-month plans and the Take-back credit
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 – $5/mo with select 24-month plans and the Take-back credit
  • iPhone 13 – $0/mo with select 24-month plans and the Take-back credit

Sasktel is also offering a $10/mo bill credit for 24 months when customers buy a phone on a two-year voice and data plan. Customers looking to get accessories can save 10 percent when they buy one, 15 percent for two, and 25 percent for three. Finally, new internet customers can get a $100 bonus credit when signing a two-year contract.
