PlayStation to release new ‘Midnight Black’ PS5 accessories in February

Featuring the PlayStation Portal, DualSense Edge, Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore

PlayStation has revealed a new line of PS5 accessories called the ‘Midnight Black Collection.’

Launching on February 20th, the collection brings a “galaxy-inspired” hue to the PlayStation Portal remote media player, DualSense Edge modular controller, Pulse Elite wireless headset and Pulse Explore wireless earbuds. These join the existing Midnight Black models of the standard PS5 DualSense controller and PS5 Console Cover.

The official PlayStation Blog also confirms pricing for each Midnight Black peripheral:

DualSense Edge — $269.99
PlayStation Portal — $269.99
Pulse Explore — $269.99
Pulse Elite — $199.99

These are the same Canadian prices as the standard white models of these devices.

Pre-orders are also set to begin on January 16th on PlayStation’s Direct online marketplace, which isn’t available in Canada, as well as “participating retailers.” PlayStation notes that availability “may vary by country/region.”
