London-based Nothing has tweeted a dot matrix photo of the Pokémon Arcanine, some sketches, and more, which aligns with rumours of the next Nothing flagship Phone (3) coming out soon.
In November of last year, GSM Arena reported that the Nothing Phone (3) had appeared in Geekbench with the tag A059. In the PokeDex, Arcanine is number 59, so people are speculating that the phone’s codename might be related to the the Pokémon.
That tweet was sent on January 21. The following day, the company said, “first tweet from new device.” Then, earlier today, it posted five sketches of what can be assumed to be a new Nothing Phone.

When the phone leaked on Geekbench, it was using a Snapdragon 7S Gen 3 chipset with a single-core score of 1,149 and a multi-core score of 2,813. While this isn’t a flagship chip, it should be enough for most phone users, following Nothing’s traditional cost/performance ratio.
There is also speculation that the new phone will feature a customizable button like the iPhone’s Action Button. This rumour is fueled by a social media post made by Nothing CEO Carl Pei. That said, it’s been two years since the Nothing Phone (2), so it’s extremely likely that the company is close to releasing a follow-up.
