Apple is rolling out updates to several of its products, including iPhones, iPads and Macs.
These updates include many new features like refinements to AI tools and bug fixes. However, these are relatively tame compared to the last few Apple updates. That said, the 18.4 update to come later this year should include some powerful new Siri features.
iOS and iPadOS 18.3 changes
The main changes in iOS 18.3 compared to its predecessor revolve around Apple Intelligence.
First and foremost, the AI tools are now turned on by default, giving users an AI-enhanced iPhone experience right out of the box. That said, this will eat up more of your storage, which might be worth noting if you have a 128GB iPhone. Apple has also made it more apparent that the AI features are still in beta.
The other notable change is that Notification Summaries are italicized to make them stand out from regular notifications. Apple has also disabled summaries for news and entertainment apps, however, the tech giant plans to bring them back once they stop hallucinating and combining unrelated items into misrepresentations.

Visual Intelligence, which appears when you hold down on the Camera Control button, is also getting upgraded so it can now make calendar events after scanning flyers and posters. It can also identify plants and animals.
The update has also fixed an issue with repeatedly hitting the equals symbol in the calculator app and various other smaller bugs.
macOS Sequoia 15.3
Apple is bringing the Mac’s AI software on par with the iPhone and iPad with macOS 15.3 Sequoia, which includes the addition of Genmoji. Beyond that, Apple’s computers will mirror the iPad and iPhone with tweaks to Notification Summaries and bug fixes.
watchOS 11.3
There are very few updates coming to the Apple Watch, but there is a new Unity watch face for Black History Month in 2025. There are no other notable updates, leading reports to suggest that the watchOS update may be mostly bug fixes.
