Each year, Google releases several devices, including its ‘a-series’ smartphones. This year, Google will unveil the Pixel 9a series, which has had all of its specs and pricing leaked.
According to Android Headlines, which attributes to their “sources,” the Pixel 9a will cost $679 CAD for the 128GB and $809 for the 256GB. This is interesting as there will be no price increase for the 128GB variant, as the Pixel 8a costs $679 in Canada. The Pixel 8a 256GB was priced at $759 last year, so there’s about a $50 increase.
Pricing in the U.S. will be $499 (roughly $719.53 CAD) for the 128GB model and $599 (roughly 863.73 CAD) for the 256GB model.
As for specs, the Pixel 9a will reportedly feature a 5,100mAh battery, a 6.3-inch display with 2700 nits of peak brightness, a Tensor G4 processor, 8GB of RAM, a 48-megapixel shooter, and a 13-megapixel ultrawide.
According to this leak, Google will release the Pixel 9a in mid-March.
