February 2025 Pixel update brings audio and Bluetooth fixes

The update is only available if you have a Pixel 6 or newer

Google is rolling out the February 2025 Pixel update for the Pixel 6-9 handsets running Android 15. The security patch is dated February 5th.

The update includes bug fixes and improvements for Pixel users, including one to fix an issue with Android Auto’s audio output and another to fix a problem that occasionally prevents connection with certain Bluetooth devices or accessories.

Additionally, the security patch has vulnerabilities that range in severity. One, rated ‘high,’ is related to the battery mitigation subcomponent.

The update starts today by heading to Settings – System – Software updates – System update – Check for updates.
