Bell raises internet service prices by $6 for some

Keep an eye out for another price increase

Bell will raise internet service prices for some of its customers once again.

Starting May 1st, 2025, the monthly rate of internet services will increase by $6. It’s unclear if this will be for all customers. I’m with Bell and I haven’t received notice of an increase since the end of 2023.

Bell has a habit of increasing its internet plans for some customers. Just this month, Bell’s internet plans increased by $4 per month and TV by $2.50 for some. It also increased its Fibe internet prices by $5 for some customers on July 1st.

Keep an eye out for your account because you might see the increase sooner than later.

Price hikes are pretty frustrating as the company keeps laying off employees. Bell announced in February 2024 that it would lay off 4,800 employees and sell 45 radios. There are also potentially 1,200 more jobs being lost as the company offered severance packages to unionized workers.
