Wicked is one of the biggest movies of 2024.

Adapting the first act of Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman’s popular 2003 Wizard of Oz stage musical, the film explores the friendship between Elphaba, the future Wicked Witch of the West, and Galinda, who later becomes Glinda the Good. (The sequel, Wicked: For Good, will hit theatres on Nov. 21, 2025.)

Wicked: Part 1 garnered strong reviews for the lead performances of Cynthia Erivo (Elphaba) and Galinda (Ariana Grande) and its musical numbers. The film was also nominated for 10 Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Actress (Erivo) and Best Supporting Actress (Grande), and ended up taking home Best Costume Design and Best Production Design.

If you’re looking to watch (or rewatch) the movie at home, you have a few streaming options.

First, Wicked is now available on Amazon’s Prime Video service as of March 21. You can also rent or purchase the film on premium video-on-demand (PVOD) platforms like Apple TV and Google Play.
