Apple renews Severance for third season

Tim Cook and Ben Stiller confirmed the renewal the morning after the nearly 90-minute Season 2 finale

Severance has been renewed for a third season on Apple TV+.

The news was confirmed in a fun little X (Twitter) exchange between Severance executive producer and director Ben Stiller and Apple CEO Tim Cook. The renewal also comes the morning after the massive, nearly 90-minute second season finale.

Season 3 of Severance is available upon request.

Apple didn’t confirm a targeted premiere window for the third season. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait three years between seasons like we did the first time around. Let’s also hope Quebec City’s own Jessica Lee Gagné returns as both cinematographer and director after her acclaimed work this season.

The complete first two seasons of Severance are now streaming on Apple TV+.
