Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference will be on June 9 this summer.
We expect to see a slate of new Apple Intelligence features, new designs for the company’s operating systems and maybe even a Mac Pro with a M3 Ultra chip.
Apple has been taking some flak for its Apple Intelligence rollout this year, so I’d expect the company to talk about its commitment to Apple Intelligence and show a much more measured roadmap for the features going forward.
One other rumoured Apple product this year is a smart home display. Some people suggest it will be on an expressive robotic arm, while others think it will be more like a standard smart display. We’ll have to wait and see, but Apple has a habit of showing off new hardware at WWDC, so maybe it will be revealed there.
Alongside that rumour, others think Apple will revamp the Home app or even release a new software stack called HomeOS for the new smart display. This would make a lot of sense to show off at WWDC since so many developers watch the show.
The final rumour is that Apple has a new AirTag to show off with a rechargeable battery, which would make it easier to use over many years than the current model, which takes CR2032 batteries.
