Toronto-based Games by Stitch has unveiled one of the most unique co-op games in a while, Elsewhere Electric.
Revealed during the recent Future Games Show, Elsewhere Electric is a two-player puzzle game for both VR and mobile. To navigate a mysterious facility, one player will have to sport a Meta Quest VR headset while the other picks up a smartphone to solve asymmetric puzzles.
You’ll have to communicate well with one another to be successful. On top of that, Games by Stitch teases “spooky roguelike Metroidvania” elements. Given the Canadian developer’s last game, the acclaimed VR horror title Broken Spectre, this should make for a strong sense of atmosphere.
With the backing of the Canada Media Fund and Ontario Creates, Elsewhere Electric is set to launch this summer for Steam VR and Meta Quest. You can wishlist the game now on Steam and the Meta Quest Store.
