Maybe you shouldn’t just pee anywhere. I typically don’t like stating the obvious, but this Rogers contractor needed it to be said aloud.
Salmon Arm, B.C. resident Stephen Slous says he caught a Rogers third-party contractor peeing on his residence. Slous spoke to Global News to explain the incident.
“I was on vacation on Vancouver Island; I got an alert that someone was at our front door. Then it said someone was in our carport… I saw him standing by the tire and thought he was going to try to break into the vehicle. He unzipped his pants and took a leak on the vehicle, then casually walked away,” Slous told Global News.
A spokesperson for Rogers told Global News, “As soon as we became aware of this incident involving a third-party contractor, we took steps to address the situation. The individual is no longer employed by the vendor, and we’ve reached out to the impacted homeowner to apologize for this incident.”
Slous told Global News that Rogers covered the cost of cleaning the vehicle and the carport, but he expected them to do a little bit more. “It definitely ruined the last night in Nanaimo. Driving home, all I could think about was someone peeing on my vehicle for no apparent reason.”
It’s unclear why the contractor peed in the driveport. Maybe he was angry at them, getting revenge for something, really needed to pee, or maybe he’d been forced to hold it, Amazon-style. Regardless of why, it was very inappropriate and disrespectful.
