Nothing has debuted a new pair of earbuds under the CMF line, dubbed the CMF Buds 2. The company also shared teasers for the CMF Phone 2 Pro.
The CMF Buds 2 is the latest in a series of new products released under Nothing’s CMF name. It features improved sound quality, ChatGPT integration, and a redesigned casing. The Buds 2 also include IP55 waterproofing, making them a solid budget option for outdoor use or while working out.
The Buds also support Bluetooth 5.4, with Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair. They also include 48dB hybrid active noise cancellation.
The CMF Buds 2 offer up to 55 hours of total playback, with 7.5 hours of playback after spending 10 minutes charging. As Nothing describes it, “A quick 10-minute top-up.” They also say, “No interruptions, just more of what you love.” “The buds also come in three colours online: light green, dark grey, and orange, as shown in promotional material.
@cmfbynothing on X shared a teaser for the CMF Phone 2 Pro, which reveals the phone’s power unit. According to CMF, the Phone 2 Pro will sport the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro and is “Powerful to the core.” The 7300 Pro looks to be an improved iteration of the 7300 5G, which the CMF Phone 1 had.
The Buds will cost $74.99 CAD, $5 less than the Buds Pro 2, which are priced at $79.99 CAD. These headphones are considerably less expensive than the Pixel Buds Pro 2, Apple AirPods 4, or other budget-friendly options.
