Nintendo has confirmed that pre-orders for the Switch 2 will begin in Canada on April 24.
Nintendo of Canada confirmed the new date in a statement sent to MobileSyrup. The company also reiterated that the costs of the standard Switch 2 and Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle will remain at $629.99 and $699.99, respectively.
“We apologize for the retail pre-order delay. We thank our customers for their patience, and we share their excitement to experience Nintendo Switch 2 starting June 5, 2025,” the company said in a statement.
Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders were originally set to go live on April 9, but Nintendo delayed them in the U.S. and, later, in Canada, in response to the U.S. tariffs.
Alongside the new pre-order date, Nintendo also finally confirmed Canadian pricing for Switch 2 games and accessories, with Mario Kart World costing a whopping $110 here.
