Telus has gotten rid of some of its limited-time deals, leaving more expensive plans as a result.
The B.C. carrier previously offered plans for $49/100GB and $60/150GB; however, some of these plans are now more expensive.
Telus now has $60/100GB and $65/125GB plans. The company’s $70/150GB and $80/200GB remain the same. It’s worth mentioning that these prices include a $10 pre-authorized bank payment, so if you don’t have autopay going through your bank, you’ll be paying $10 more each month.

It’s worth mentioning that this is for autopay with your bank account, not your credit card, which has a $5 autopay discount instead of $10.
These plans also include unlimited nationwide data, talk and text, unlimited international messaging, mobile hotspot or tethering, and speeds up to 1Gbps, and a 39 per cent discount on Telus’ Stream+ bundle for six months.
Notably, Telus’ changes come after Rogers and Bell introduced more expensive plans. Last week, Rogers increased prices on some plans and started bundling three months of free Sportsnet+. Today, Bell followed suit, raising prices to match Rogers’ offers.
However, Telus’ plans remain slightly cheaper. For example, Telus’ $60/100GB plan is $5/mo cheaper than Rogers and Bell, which both have a $65/100GB plan. It remains to be seen how long Telus keeps prices lower than the others.
