Rockstar finally drops new Grand Theft Auto VI trailer

The last -- and only other -- trailer was released way back in December 2023

At long last, Rockstar Games has dropped the official second trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI.

The nearly three-minute trailer, which is comprised entirely of in-engine cinematics, offers a better look at the game’s dual protagonists, Jason and Lucia, and Miami-inspired state of Leonida. The story follows the pair after an easy score goes wrong and they find themselves in the middle of a state-wide conspiracy.

All in all, GTA VI looks as stunning as you’d expect, although the new trailer still doesn’t provide any actual gameplay footage. This is the second-ever trailer for GTA VI after the first was dropped in December 2023. The new trailer also comes just a few days after Rockstar officially delayed GTA VI out of late 2025 to May 2026.

GTA VI will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
