Netflix to get Rob Ford ‘Trainwreck’ documentary in June

The film unpacks the late Toronto mayor's various scandals, including his hard drug use

A new documentary centred around the late Toronto mayor Rob Ford will hit Netflix on June 17.

The film is called Trainwreck: Mayor of Mayhem and chronicles the scandals of Ford’s wild career, including his hard drug use, and the international media cycle that followed. It was directed by Shianne Brown (Fight the Power How Hip Hop Changed the World).

Mayor of Mayhem is part of a new season in Netflix’s Trainwreck anthology series, which covers chaotic stories that dominated headlines. Other stories featured in this season include the fatal events at Travis Scott’s 2021 Astroworld concert, the disastrous Mexico-bound “Poop Cruise” and the internet movement to storm Area 51.
