The new Motorola G Stylus version is now available for $600 on the company’s website and will be coming to Canadian carriers imminently.
As of the time of writing, none of the major carriers have the device listed on their websites, but Motorola has emailed us saying that the phone will be available at “select carriers and national retailers on May 13.”
This phone has been well-received by reviewers for being a strong budget choice this year. Compared to the Moto G Power, which is only $449, it has a better screen, but an older version of Gorilla Glass. The Stylus version also comes with a Qualcomm chipset instead of MediaTek and has better camera specs across the board. Overall, the phone seems like a good buy and a good step up over past Motorola phones with styluses.
Of course, this phone also features a stylus for much less than a Samsung Galaxy Ultra phone, so if you really like doodling on the go or like taking handwritten notes on your phone, this is the one for you.
You can dive deeper into the specs on Motorola’s website and keep your eye out for it to go on sale after the summer as we move into the holiday shopping season.
