Bell and Zoom are teaming up to offer ‘Workplace from Bell and Zoom,’ a platform providing AI-powered communication services for businesses.
The companies pitched it as an “open collaboration platform” that features Zoom’s AI Companion, which is now available exclusively to Canadian enterprises through Bell. Zoom AI Companion offers several different functionalities, like generating ideas on Zoom Whiteboard, offering real-time feedback on communication and presentation skills, and more.
Another key feature of Workplace from Bell and Zoom is integrated communications, such as seamless calling, meetings, and file sharing.
The platform is available exclusively through Bell and will be available nationally this year. Bell provided the following details when asked how people can access Workplace:
“To clarify how people can access Workplace, Bell provides an all-in-one solution that includes internet service, Workplace from Zoom, wireless options, and more, to support customersā communication needs. Customers only require internet service to access it. While we highly recommend using Bell Internet for the best experience, it isnāt mandatory. If a business is interested in accessing Workplace, the first step would be to contact Bell to discuss their options and learn more about how to integrate Workplace into their communication setup.”
The partnership with Zoom “addresses a crucial gap in the Canadian market for hybrid teams by providing secure, AI-first tools for efficient communication,” Bell toldĀ MobileSyrupĀ in an email.
The Montreal-based national telecom also promised security and productivity benefits for using Workplace.
