Rogers revamping The Price is Right for Canadians

Rogers has shared its plans for upcoming content for Citytv, and the centrepiece of the announcements is a new version of The Price is Right.

The new version’s working title is “The Price is Right Tonight,” denoting its new focus on the prime-time night slot instead of daytime TV like it used to be. It is set to air in the spring of 2026.

Before that is the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), which Rogers now sponsors. This year is the festival’s 50th anniversary, and Citytv is planning a one-hour red carpet event this fall.

The press release also mentions that a new season of Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent is coming soon. The media company also shared a longer list of other shows that are coming to its network this year. You can read the full list in Rogers’ press release.
