A Nintendo Direct focused on Donkey Kong Bananza will be held later this week.
The roughly 15-minute presentation will be held on Wednesday, June 18 on Nintendo’s YouTube channel. Notably, this will be the Nintendo Switch 2’s second major exclusive following launch title Mario Kart World. On top of that, Bananza is the first new Donkey Kong game since 2014’s Tropical Freeze and the series’ first 3D entry since 1999’s Donkey Kong 64.
Tune in at 6 a.m. PT on June 18 for a livestreamed #DonkeyKongBananza Direct presentation, featuring roughly 15 minutes of information about the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 game. #NintendoDirect

In Bananza, our hero must stop recover stolen bananas from the greedy Void Company. Interestingly, the game features sandbox-style areas in which DK can destroy practically everything in the environment, allowing players to create their own paths and find hidden items.
Donkey Kong Bananza will launch exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2 on July 17. It should be noted that it will cost $100 in Canada, $10 more than the average current-gen game.
