Amazon Prime Members in Calgary, Edmonton and other select surrounding communities can get items faster than before.
The company expanded its Same-Day and Overnight Delivery options in Alberta’s largest cities. Further, Amazon will clearly label the shipping options as ‘Prime Same-Day’ or ‘Prime Overnight’ items. Plus, there’s a ‘Get it Today’ filter to narrow your search
Same-day delivery in as fast as seven hours on eligible orders. And there’s overnight delivery on orders placed as late as 8:30 p.m. with arrivals as early as 4 a.m. There’s additionally free delivery on purchases over $25 (or a $6.99 fee for orders under $25) or an $11.99 fee for non-Prime members to use same-day or overnight delivery.
This is made possible by the company’s 12 fulfillment facilities in Alberta, which support more than 7,000 employees across the province.
The launch comes just in time for Amazon Canada’s Prime Day sale, which starts July 8 and runs until July 11.
