A regulatory filing has revealed plenty of new details about the new Nothing Phone 3, which is released next week.
The Tech Outlook spotted the FCC filing for the Nothing Phone 3, which sports the model number AO24. The filings are available on the commission’s website, and they reveal a few details about the upcoming device.
For starters, the e-label and multiple documents confirm that this is the Nothing Phone 3. The listing also mentions a 5150 mAh battery, which is 300 mAh larger than the Nothing Phone 2’s rated capacity. The battery would also be 150 mAh larger than the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, but falls behind the OnePlus 13.
Documents also mention 65W charging which, although less than the promised 100W charging support, is more than both the S25 Ultra and the Nothing Phone 2 at 45W. As Android Authority notes- other details from the filing include Nothing OS 3.3, and a metal frame.
Another interesting point to note is that the FCC filing also includes a regulatory label that mentions specific markets, including Oceania (Australia and New Zealand), Canada, the EU, France, Japan, Taiwan, and the United States.
This regulatory filing comes out after Nothing confirmed that their new device would be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, and after a leak revealed some of the specs for the flagship device.
Nothing also confirmed they are making over the ear headphones, which also use Nothing’s signature semi-transparent design.
