Telus slapped a 25GB data bonus on several plans while also reducing overall data buckets and raising prices.
Below is a full list of the company’s plans as of June 26, 2025. Note that the prices include a $10 pre-authorized bank payment discount. Bolded items have bonus data. Additionally, all plans have unlimited Canada-wide calling and texting.

Telus plans as of June 26, 2025.
While it’s nice to get some bonus data, this move from Telus is a classic telco rug pull. The company managed to raise plan prices by $5 almost across the board (though some of the most expensive plans kept the same prices) while also reducing data amounts at the same time, obscured by promotional bonus data.
Take, for example, the $75/175GB plan. Just yesterday, you could have gotten the same plan for $70/mo, and it would have come with 200GB of data. Now you’re getting 25GB less data — despite the 25GB bonus data! — and the price is higher.
Moreover, the changes make Telus’ plans worse than comparable options from Bell and Rogers. Bell, for example, has $65/125GB, $75/200GB, and $95/275GB plans, while Rogers has $75/200GB and $95/275GB plans along with its new $65/158GB Canada Day deal.
Of course, none of the Big Three have particularly good deals right now unless you desperately need more than 150GB of data. Providers like Freedom Mobile are still heavily undercutting the bigger players with options like $56/100GB Canada/U.S./Mexico and $36/60GB Canada/U.S./Mexico. As always, I recommend you shop around to find the best deals. If you need help searching through all of the plans, check out MobileSyrup’s plan search tool.
