Nintendo of Canada has shared that due to “market conditions,” prices on a wide variety of Switch accessories, consoles, games and memberships are going up. The Switch 2 is excluded from these changes.
The extremely brief press release says, “Nintendo Switch OLED, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, physical and digital Nintendo Switch games and Nintendo Switch accessories. Other Nintendo products, including amiibo and Nintendo Switch Online memberships will also experience price changes.”
The actual price changes will be announced on August 8, 2025. It’s unclear if the company will also raise the prices then as well.
The current prices for a variety of Switch items on June 30 are below;
- Switch Lite – $259
- Switch – $399
- Switch OLED – $449
- Refurb Switch + Switch Sports – $375
- Joy-Cons – $99
- Pro Controller – $89
- Joy-Con charging stand – $39
- Amiibo – $21 to $41
- Switch Online – $25 per year
- Switch Online + Expansion Pack – $64 per year
- The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom – $79
- Super Mario Bros Wonder – $79
- Super Mario Odyssey – $79
- Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker – $49
- Switch Sports – $49
