Public Mobile offering $40/60GB, $50/80GB until July 17

After Public Mobile released new plans that were pretty disappointing, the company is now offering bonus data on some plans on sale until July 17.

Here’s the breakdown:

• $40/60GB 5G Canada/U.S./Mexico.
• $50/80GB 5G Canada/U.S./Mexico.
• $19/1GB 4G Canada-wide (ends July 17 now, instead of July 14).

These new plans are much better than what Public Mobile offered just a few days ago, but they are only available for less than a week.

For example, the $40/20GB+40GB plan is closer to the $36/60GB plan Public offered before changing plans, but is still more expensive overall. Public’s $50/30GB+50GB plan is likewise a more expensive version of its previous $46/80GB option.

If you’re not impressed Freedom Mobile undercuts all these plans by a $1, and offers extra data if you’re travelling beyond U.S. and Mexico, so it might be time to make a switch.
