After announcing in 2024, CD Projekt Red is finally happy with how their game runs on Apple Silicon. The Mac version of the game will be available to buy and play from the App Store, Epic Games Store, Steam and GOG.com.
The minimum requirements to play the title are 16GB of RAM and macOS 15.5 or later. The Mac version of the game also supports Spatial Audio with head tracking if you’re using AirPods to play. Further, the game will use AMD’s FSR game scaling tech to help the game run smoothly on the wide variety of Macs that are supported. This will likely be needed to get full path-traced lighting support in the graphically intense title.
Buckle up, Mac chooms, ’cause we’ve got news you’ve been waiting for! 🤯

The Mac version is the game’s latest update, including recently added cars and a new photo mode. The developer’s press release also mentions that the game has been tuned for all of Apple’s modern Macs (with 16GB of RAM), so no matter where you play, you should have a decent experience.
If you already own the game, you can play it for free through your chosen game launcher. If you buy it through the Mac App Store, it will also be the Ultimate Edition that includes the Phantom Liberty DLC expansion.
