ChatGPT can now create presentations and plan vacations

The agent mode is available to Pro, Plus and Team users

OpenAI is rolling out a new update that transforms ChatGPT into an agentic system capable of performing complex tasks.

Tools called “agent mode” are available to Pro, Plus, and Team users. Agent mode enables ChatGPT to navigate sites, prompt users to log in when needed, conduct analysis, and deliver editable slideshows and spreadsheets.

You will still have control, as ChatGPT asks for permission before taking necessary actions. You can also interrupt ChatGPT, take over, or stop its tasks at any time. The agentic feature includes a visual browser that interacts with the web through a graphical user interface and features a text-based browser for reasoning-based web queries.

OpenAI says that ChatGPT’s agentic mode can create presentations from dashboards, analyze marketing data, plan vacations, organize dinner parties and book appointments.
