Nintendo has confirmed that its next Direct presentation will take place on Thursday, July 31 at 9 a.m. ET/6 a.m. PT.
The company says the stream will be a roughly 25-minute “Partner Showcase,” meaning it will focus on Switch 2 and Switch games from third-party studios. In other words, don’t expect updates on first-party exclusives like Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Kirby Air Riders.
Therefore, it’s unclear exactly what might be shown during the stream. Some notable third-party titles that are confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2 include FromSoftware’s The Duskbloods and Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, Ubisoft’s Star Wars Outlaws and Supergiant’s Hades II. Of course, people also always hope (and are inevitably disappointed) for the ever-elusive Hollow Knight: Silksong.
In any event, we’ll know more soon. The Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase will be streamed on Nintendo’s YouTube and Twitch channels.
