The BlackBerry Classic is back — sort of.
A Chinese company called Zinwa Technologies, which focuses on QWERTY devices, is retooling the older BlackBerry Classic Q20 devices with new tech and Android 13. Dubbed the Zinwa Q25 Pro, the retrofitted phone adds a new main board that includes a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of onboard storage. Further, the Q25 Pro sports a 50MP rear camera and 8MP front camera, a 3,000mAh battery and USB-C connectivity.
Vancouver-born Pebble founder Eric Migicovsky shared a picture of the Q25 Pro alongside some words of praise, saying it “feels so good” to use.

You can buy the Zinwa Q25 Pro outright for US$420 (about C$580). Alternatively, there’s a US$320 mod kit (about C$440) that adds the more modern components to a Q20 if you happen to still own one.
