Intel is giving away codes for Battlefield 6 as part of its upcoming ‘Gamer Days’ event.
The chip maker’s Gamer Days event will run from August 25 to September 7, 2025 with deals, sweepstakes and more for gamers to enjoy. Ahead of the event, Intel unveiled the first Gamer Days bonus: free codes for EA’s upcoming first-person shooter (FPS) BF6.
Those who buy qualifying Intel products during Gamer Days can claim a free digital copy of BF6 through the company’s Software Advantage program at ‘softwareoffer.intel.com.’ Gamers have until October 31 to redeem their copy of BF6, though they won’t actually be able to claim it until October 3. (The game officially launches on October 10.)
Alongside the giveaway, Intel said it’s working with EA on BF6 to “ensure an amazing experience on Intel-powered systems.” Earlier this month, Intel detailed its work with EA to optimize the game for its Core and Core Ultra processors and Arc graphics. For example, Intel helped optimize the schedule to ensure the game’s processes run on the right CPU threads to smooth the experience. BF6 will also support Intel’s XeSS 2 tech at launch, which offers upscaling and frame generation features to boost performance and framerates in games.
I’ve been playing — and thoroughly enjoying — the BF6 beta on an Asus G700 desktop PC (review coming soon) sporting an Intel Core Ultra 265F. Despite being a beta, the game performed remarkably well on my PC. I can’t say how much of that comes down to Intel’s optimization assistance, but I’m sure it doesn’t hurt.
Intel plans to announce additional bundles and giveaways for Gamer Days, so stay tuned for more from the company.
