Xbox reveals new ‘Breaker’ series of special edition controllers

The three colourful controllers will launch on September 9

Xbox has unveiled a new lineup of special edition controllers called the “Breaker” series.

The set includes three controllers:

Heart Breaker — mix of pinks and purples with strokes of blue and translucent top case
Ice Breaker — glacier blue with crystallized pattern and frosted translucent finish
Storm Breaker — black, white, grey and silver colourway with metallic D-pad and opaque case

The three controllers will cost $99.99 each and are available for pre-order now through the Microsoft Store ahead of a September 9 launch. If you haven’t bought any Xbox accessories in a little while, it should be noted that Microsoft increased the cost of its special edition controllers from $89.99 to $99.99 back in May, among other price hikes.
