Bell, like TELUS and Rogers, has come out with a similar promo that waives the $35 activation fee. For those interested, you’ll have to sign a 3-year contract to save the dough, or a 2/3-year contract with an Internet Stick. The promo starts today and goes until September 30th. Just so you’re aware, the fine print says that “the $35 bill credit for the activation fee will be applied to the eligible client’s invoice within 6-8 weeks after activation”. The carriers should really look into dropping the fee all together.
