At the end of Q3 2012 WIND Mobile officially had 510,484 wireless subscribers. This number increased by 53,598 from Q2 2012, or 11.7%. In addition, a glance at the year-over-year progression shows a 42.6% increase in subscribers (was 357,983). WIND also notes that “over 90% of net additions during the quarter were postpaid subscribers.”
ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) in Q3 also increased to $27.90/month from $27.70/month in Q2. According to the Orascom Telecom filing WIND attributes the increase to their back-to-school promos, plus “the strength of the Samsung Galaxy SIII.”
