Bump has always been a strange yet indispensable app for many users. It doesn’t rely on NFC or any direct-connect voodoo, but rather allows users to transfer files over the ‘net by knocking two devices together.
The Android app has received a nice update this week, bringing file transfers to the table. Called Bump Files, the app now allows users running Android phones to transfer documents, photos, videos and more, which is a big upgrade from previous versions.
The company is also boasting that it peaked above 112 million downloads yesterday, on 12/12/12, which is quite a pleasant coincidence, as well as a monumental feat.
