Eastlink is putting the final touches on their wireless network. It’s been delayed a couple time and we’re now hearing that they’ll go live mid-to-late-February. No indication of what devices will be available, most likely Android and BlackBerry.
In addition to this news, Eastlink has officially launched their “Eastlink To Go” iPhone and iPad app. Previously, digital TV customers who wanted to access TV on their go service would view had the option of downloading the Android app, or via their smartphone, tablet, or computer “at no extra cost.” The app is compatible with iOS 5.0 or higher and gives you the ability to watch movies, TV shows, and exclusive Eastlink TV content.
