There’s not too many new smartphones announcements at at CES this year. However, ZTE announced the massive Grand S LTE that runs OS 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and has a 5-inch display (1920×1080). Unfortunately there’s no word on a Canadian release and it’s incredibly thin at only 6.9mm, which they are claiming to be the “thinnest smartphone in the world.” The Grand S LTE packs a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM and has 16GB of internal memory.
Overall it’s a nice looking device – probably the best ZTE device in history. I captured some pics and probably the most hilarious, but unfortunate, hands-on demo I’ve ever experienced. It’s worth the 2 minutes…
