Over the summer, Uber released its API for third-party app integration. Google was the first to add Uber integration, adding a button for the the taxi hailing app to Google Maps, but Uber promised many other companies were adding Uber to their apps, too.
Now, one company from Uber’s API launch list has made good on its promise to integrate Uber. Version 3.1.2 of the Starbucks app for iOS was released on Thursday and brings Uber integration as well as some bug fixes and enhancements. You, of course, need to have Uber installed before you can Uber to your nearest Starbucks.
