Check out this awesome underwater unboxing of the Sony Xperia Z3 (video)

We don’t usually go gaga over unboxing videos, but this one from Carphone Warehouse, a UK retailer with a flair for the unique side of the mobile industry, is fantastic.

In short, it’s an unboxing video of then Xperia Z3, Sony’s upcoming flagship, performed underwater in scuba gear.

The phone not only turns on, but continues to work flawlessly while the narrator takes photos and video of his camera crew.

We’ve heard that the Xperia Z3 and its diminutive counterpart, the Xperia Z3 Compact, will arrive in Canada sometime next month. In the meantime, let this video “wet” your appetite.
