Dropbox for iOS update adds support for Touch ID

With the release of iOS 8, Apple made Touch ID integration available to third-party developers. In the month or so since iOS 8 became available, we’ve seen the likes of Mint, Amazon, 1Password, Evernote, and LastPass integrate Touch ID authentication into their iOS apps. Now, Dropbox is jumping on the pile.

The company updated its iOS app this week to version 3.5. This brings support for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, of course, and Touch ID integration. The Dropbox team has also thrown in a fix for previewing RTF files on iOS 8 as well as some general stability and performance improvements.
