Google Play Music subscribers will get access to YouTube Music next week

Youtube

Last week, Google finally announced its long-rumoured YouTube subscription music service. Though there was no indication as to when this service would launch, the company did offer some details about what users willing to pony up the required $10 per month would get, and this included access to Google Play Music.

If you’re already a Google Play Music All Access, you might be wondering if that means you’ll get all of the YouTube Music goodies Google talked about earlier this week totally free of charge. The answer is yes. When Google launches YouTube Music, you won’t have to pay for it.

That in itself is great news for Google Play Music subscribers. However, Google has also confirmed that current users will get to try the service first. Google has started informing users that they’ll be getting “free and complete access” to YouTube Music Key beta next week. No word on whether this applies to Canadian subscribers too, but we here at the MobileSyrup offices have yet to receive any word from Google about our YouTube Music Keys.
