Rogers promising BlackBerry Passport update to 10.3.1 in March

BlackBerry Passport review

BlackBerry and its carrier partners started rolling out the OS 10.3.1 update yesterday. Z10 and Q10 users on several Canadian carriers have received the update, but the Passport and Z30 will be available in the coming weeks.

On its OS update page, Rogers notes that the Z30 update could possibly be available by the end of the month while the Passport rollout is targeted for “early March.”

BlackBerry OS 10.3.1 offers improvements to battery life and overall performance, as well as access to the Amazon Appstore, BlackBerry Assistant, and support for Blend. There’s also slight improvements to the UI, Hub, and the Calendar.
