BlackBerry Leap now available in Canada

Originally announced at Mobile World Congress, the Leap is BlackBerry’s latest smartphone, aimed at the “young business professional.” We already knew the 5-inch BB10 powered device was coming to Canada, unlocked, through ShopBlackBerry, but select carriers now have it available for sale.

Rogers, Bell, Telus, SaskTel, and Wind Mobile have all confirmed its release. As for pricing, the Leap will be $0 on a 2-year term, or $349 no-term at the Big Three and SaskTel, while Wind Mobile has it “starting at $0” on WindTab and $399 outright. For those interested, BlackBerry will also be selling the Leap for $349 unlocked through ShopBlackBerry.com.
